  • Using Skytrak for Club & Ball Fitting

How many of you use skytrak to compare shots using different shafts, adjustable settings or different balls?

Can you share some tricks to make the "shot history" screen and comparison data look better?

For example, if I want to compare balls hitting my 7 iron, I know when selecting clubs in practice mode that you can press the plus button to "compare clubs" but that simply adds "7 Iron #2". However I've seen screenshots where people have been able to change the labels to whatever text they want so instead of "7 Iron #2" it could read "B330-RX". How do you change the club labels?

Also, you can only hit compare up to 3 additional times so you'll see in the pic attached that I was comparing 5 balls with my 7 iron and had to use the 3 iron label for my fifth ball just so it would capture the data separately. If I could change the label I wouldn't have to do that.

Anything else I should know about using skytrak for club and ball fitting? Thanks!

I have done it before and usually just screenshot it to save it a as a picture. I also have an app on the iPad where I can write notes on the picture itself. I use the app to label the ball or club I was using. Not the most time effective way to do it but is easiest for me to save data.

Being able to name clubs would be perfect for my use. Either like TrackMan where you can enter clubs into the system before testing them (the best option to save time), or being able to give a name/label as you go.

"Export" option in the SkyTrak app sends you a pdf file. You could do a "session" with a club or ball, "export," then do another session with a different club or ball.
