Would this computer work for SIM?

That computer will work with TGC. The GTX 1060 is marginally better than the 970 so no problems there.

It will definitely work well with the Golf Club. GTX 1060 was a large step up from my 960. The processor shouldn't really be a problem as I use an i5. The only thing I might suggest is possibly adding another 8G of RAM down the road. It is pretty cheap. I got it for about $30.00 and easy to install. If you are using FSX, I would definitely get the extra RAM, but overall this computer will work perfectly fine for a sim.

Gonna rob your thread, sorry! How will I fair running TGC with the following rig:

A8-5600k CPU Gtx 950 GPU or gtx 750ti (950 is better right?)
8gb ram
Windows 8

I'll be playing on a lower end 1080p LED TV, so I'll be trying for 1080p, but I just want to stay away from lag and stutter.

You should upgrade to a GTX1060 or 970. I am guessing that the GTX 750ti is better than the 950..... both of those are a little weak for TGC.
