Laser placement when a ball is on a tee

where should the laser hit with a ball on a tee, at base of the tee or on the actual ball

At the base of the tee is where I set mine.

ThankYou, I finally found some older threads as well with great advise

I'm not sure why but I set mine a couple inches in front of my tee toward the target. Probably because I hit my approaches from the dot and my tee balls from the tee. More efficient sim playing.
