Anybody interested in a Almost Golf Ball TGC club?

With snow outside and being busy for the next few months, I might have to use the sky trak indoors only with foam/almost golf balls. But I was wondering if anybody might be interested in setting up a almostgolfball (or even callaway foam ball) tailored golf course in TGC. The yardages would be scaled (i.e. 150 yard par 3's, 300 yard par 4's and 400 yard par 5's) and the greens would be adjusted to match the spin characteristics of these balls so it can become playable with a normal spin (i.e. larger, slower greens to factor in less spin of full iron shots).

Great idea. I haven't purchased TGC yet so cant join at this time, otherwise I'd be in!

I really hope Skytrak works towards a foam ball solution in the near future. Seems like there are a lot of us that are limited to foam, and others that would likely purchase if they knew foam was supported.

I'm not sure how the software works to know if they could make the settings in a place that would allow the "adjustments" to be reflected in the different simulator packages (versus have each simulator having to provide configurations).

I know skytrak will still read the foam balls but the readings results would be interepted as if it was a real ball - meaning almost golf balls kinda react like a real golf ball in the first few inches but their weight and design in real life causes it to fall out of the sky after 30 yards or so. So while someone who hits a 7 iron 150 yards in real life would hit a almost golf ball only about 40-50 yards in real life, skytrak's measurements would estimate the almost golf ball to travel about 120-130 yards.

The first thing I'm gonna do is get and idea of what a good shot and a bad shot would look like on an almost ball across all the clubs. Taking that into consideration I would build holes that would scale down to those specs. I don't know how skytrak will interpret a bad slice with an almost golf ball so once I get those figures, I'll widen or narrow out fairways taking those factors into consideration.

I would probably do something as a rule where if you're under 20 yards, you can use a real ball to chip or something since the spin characteristics of an almost golf ball might not be accurate vs a real ball in that short distance.
