  • SkyTrak + Driving Range (mats)

    Hey there,

I am thinking of purchasing the unit primarily for driving range use. My golf driving range has mats only so it should be suitable for SkyTrak as you wouldn't require any repositioning/rebalancing. Just wondering if any of you would have any experience in doing this? How long would the setup be? Hows the quality of the show detection?

I normally practice at night with fluorescent lighting thats not too bright. Was thinking of using SkyTrak with an Ipad (longer response delay?). Appreciate your thoughts! Thanks!

I only use my skytrak with mats. I have brought it to the driving range at night and it worked perfect. You should have no problems.

Awesome, thanks for that. How long would it take you to set it all up?

I have only used mine on the range so far as I have not built my mancave yet, getting setup and ready to go is a couple of minutes tops

I have taken it to the range once, but I noticed since the mats were outside that they were also not clean and got dust, sand, dirt particles over the skytrak screen which I carefully wiped away. A range where the hitting area is in a closeable area when not in use would be much better.
