I played for about 4 months on tour with just laptop and GC2. Really enjoyed it. Projector/screen is obviously better but both were great. I got bored very quickly hitting without the courses so simulation software is a must. JNPG offers a lower cost entry point to simulation software, although of course TGC is available as a one-off cost, rather than annual. It's addictive
