New SkyTrak Purchase Tomorrow

Looking for direction on buying a SkyTrak and will either get the TGC or just use it in practice mode "Driving Range" until I have my Laptop - so it needs to run on Windows not Apple.

Is it possible to buy the unit and run it without any other S/w (Apple) or not.

Best place to get it 1695 the lowest around?

Looks like the PayPal coupon doesn't work any more on the SkyTrak. At least I got my order in. Due for delivery on 01/09. Can't wait.

I got mine for 1695 no tax no shipping, 1525 would've been great. I got the screen for the Net Return, an old in focus vga projector, scored a great deal on a Alienware I7 16 gb w/970GTX video ssd for $550 runs the range perfectly, shots take off within 2 seconds. ST is close to the Parms. of my ES14 so I'm confident it's accurate enough for playing the courses and practicing.
I'm watching a couple of WXGA+ 3-4K lumen Projectors on eBay in the 300 - 400 range and will then decide on which S/w Pkg. to get. Thanks to everyone that contributed to my habit. Denny N Dallas
