Skytrak unable to connect network mode

I've had my skytrak for a few days now. have not been able to connect with network mode. The skytrak is setup in a detached garage 30 feet from the router. netgear ac2600. inside the garage my desktop connects fine with a good wifi signal (60db). speedtest download avg 35mbps when connected to the 2.4ghz network. my note 5 phone connects to the same 2.4ghz network and downloads same speeds. The skytrak connects perfectly fine with direct wifi connection. I have not been able to connect to network mode.
Everytime i click network mode, connect to skytrak then windows comes up to enter information. i enter the correct info. ssid, wpa2, password. middle light always blinks yellow then yellow but then the time would run out and not connect. I have reset the router which did not help.

What could be the problem? Help.

Are you still at the default 192.168.1.1 router IP address? I only ask because if you changed it, that could be your problem. Skytrak doesn't connect if your router is set to 10.0.0.1.

Yes default router is 192.168.1.1. example like my phone when connected is 192.168.1.4

Did you get it to work? Im in the process of trying to get a better wifi signal out to my garage. i can run skytrak fine connected with the cord. I went to add it to the network but my wifi name had characters in the name so i had to rename the network. I havent tried it again. I never saw a space to entire an ip address. maybe I'm thinking of something different.

I finally got it all sorted out. Basically the wifi signal was not strong enuff to make a connection with the skytrak. The garage has no power so ive been using extension cords. Had a spare inline internet power extender. It runs the internet signal thru the homes power lines. Also had an extra old router i took to the garage. The extender rj45 to router then router acts as a repeater gave a strong signal in garage. Home speed is 125mbps down. Garage after the signal degradation still gives me 40mbps down. Runs tgc perfect.
