    SkyTrak not reading short chips

    I seem to be running into an issue where my SkyTrak will not read any chips under 10 yards. I am hitting off a beige carpet and it read one out of ten


    Is there a maximum limit or ball speed before it reads a shot?

      Just on the ST software or are you using sim software?

              Try placing the ball slightly behind the laser dot and see if it improves.

                  Its a limitation of the skytrak itself. The readings below a certain ball speed just arent going to read well or at all. Skytrak has said they are working on a "smart putting mode" that hopefully should fix this at some point. Been 3 or 4+ or so months now since he first mentioned it so im guessing it must be tough to do or they are trying to make it as perfect as possible with the hardware they have to use before releasing it
