I saw that Trackman released the long anticipated Virtual Golf 2 last week, to very little fanfare. It looks like a major breakthrough with the use of NVIDIA's "Turf Effects" in its presentation of 3D rough. It's also showing some of the benefits of HDR lighting.
I was hoping to see some videos of a Virtual Golf 2 round in action by now, but all I've seen is 20 second flyover videos of the Sea Island's Seaside Course. Stunning graphics, but it seems that at this point in time only Trackman 4 owners will ever get to experience them.
