Trackman 4 now working with TGC2019 with both TPS 6.3 and TPS 7 installed

I am pleased to report that the customer service at Trackman is second to none. Jimmy K at Trackman Sim support was able to install TPS 7 remotely so I can keep TPS 6.3, which is the latest version that is compatible with TGC2019, and still run the new TPS 7 and Virtual Golf 2. He did not update the firmware from 1.8x to 1.9x yet, as he said a newer version would be released I believe this week. This is a big deal, and it speaks to TM's willingness to listen to their customers and allow us the freedom to get the most from our investment in Trackman technology, kudo's to Trackman and Jimmy K! I hope this helps my fellow TGC fans.

I found the answer thanks to another TM user who owns a shop (member of the TM facebook page) - very nice from him to give me a hand !

Here is what I have done.
1-make a back up of the TPS 7.2 folder (located in c:\program)
2 - uninstall TPS 7.2
3 - install TPS 6.3 on a usb drive (could be installed on a second drive also - will try at a later stage)
4 move back TPS 7.2 folder to its original location

Then you can create shortcuts on your desktop to either launch TPS 6.3 or TPS 7.2

I m completing my last comment after having received my license transfer number from protee (uneekor to TM).
everything works like a charm. It takes 1-2s, after hitting, before displaying on tgc. In this sense, Uneekor was better - nearly immediate !

BTW, I ve copied TPS 6.3 from my USB key to the pc ssd drive and it s working great with both tps 6.3 and 7 installed on the same hard drive !

revisitng this thread. I currently use TGC 2019 with a skytrak and I am looking to hookup my friends trackman 4 to try it out trackman on TGC. Does anyone have a link to TPS 6.3 download I can access? Also will it work with my current version of TGC without breaking my skytrak setup? Do I need an interface for trackman? thanks all!

Trackman axed it when they bought JNPG and released it as Trackman Software.
