I just received my jet spotlight ... I’m not an electrician but I can do simple wiring ... does this light require a 20 amp feed or will it work on a 15 amp line
any help would be appreciated
I am not an expert on this but do have an engineering degree. I think you should be fine with a 15 amp circuit. Is there a wattage ratings on the light? If you let me know the wattage rating of the light, I’ll be able to answer your question more definitively.
Great news the light is working flawless all data reading and putting working well with yellow ball
Love the trackman software , courses , everything the only complaint I have and albeit small ....
is the lack of cameras for ball flight I’d love to see a ball cam similar to the foresight sports ball cam that’s one thing I miss about the quad / hawk otherwise I’m extremely happy ... I just installed a optima uhd 60 4K projector as well
Are you speaking to the range limitation on the ball flight or while in sim mode? I’m settings for sim mode there are different ball flight options that you can choose. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but thought I’d mention.
Very happy to hear about your results now and wonder if you can show a picture of the light set up on your room?
Congrats again and I could not agree with you more regarding the software, I find it fantastic and am always learning more as I co to use to use my TM.
A little late here, but the Jett105 lamp is 50 watts, so it pulls less than half an amp. So you could string a bunch on a 15 amp breaker without a problem. I have 2 installed on my single track above my hitting area. I agree it provides illumination allowing Trackman to pick up impact position pretty flawlessly (except the most egregious of mishits like ultra thin, in which case it really doesn't matter anyway ; ) They are the only lights I turn on when in my sim, and they provide enough light for my down the line and face on iPhone SE cameras I have connected to the Trackman software to have acceptable illumination of the golfer as well while keeping ambient light low to maximize projector and screen picture quality. I'll post a pic of my setup as well when I get home.
Awesome I am thinking of adding 1 more .... hey Dax if you’re reading this any news on the ball trackman is developing With the light we get with the Jett 105 would you even need the ball or is that for a different purpose all together such as more accuracy inside with a shorter hitting area?
@leomode might be the best to answer the question. I have not heard anything new other than more confirmation that the ball should be coming from different people. I wish I knew more. The only thing I am thinking is that the ball will remove the need for the metallic sticker and based on my reading from the patent is that it should allow for the direct reading of spin axis by the radar. I hope we will hear more on this in the coming months.
I think I started the Jett 105 misnomer above, sorry about that. The Trackman light is the Jett 104 which is 40 watts, so it pulls even less current. I have two of the Jett 104 lights mounted on a single track. Attached are some pics of my setup, the two 104 lights are the only illumination I usually use in the room besides the projector. Looking at the screen, you can get a glimpse of their ability to provide light for the two iPhone SE cameras I have integrated using the iOS Trackman Camera app. Impact position pickup with my setup is pretty flawless.
