    TM4 outdoor mode

Just picked up a used TM4 indoor model and if I upgrade to give it the outdoor capability do I get any other features other than full ball flight tracking?

    Thanks

Congrats in your purchase! I think that is all you get. The indoor only model can work outdoors though for small chip shots (I think it is shots less than 30 yards, but cannot remember).

Thanks, that's what it mostly looked like from the info I could find. I'd probably only use it a few times per year outdoor anyway so I'll save myself the upgrade fee.

I contacted TM but haven’t heard back yet. How much is the upgrade fee?

Strange they have not got back to you. I usually hear from them the same day or the next day depending on when I reach out. Maybe the 4th is causing them to be out of the office for the weekend. The upgrade to outdoor is the price diff between and indoor and outdoor model.

They eventually got back. It was about $5400 after tax and took a couple of days to activate.

Makes sense if you include tax as the price differential is $5k.
