Gave it a go searching for this topic but found nothing!
I was just using a trackman setup that had (what I think) is a Fiberbuilt mat with a different surface on the hitting area. While having lessons on another Trackman, my club path was finally between 0 and 2 degrees from the inside (lots of work to achieve this as it used to be 8), but I came to this new one and I'm seeing 6 degrees. And even 10 degrees with the driver!
Very odd I thought, especially as my ball flight is looking pretty similar to how it did while having lessons.
But then I started to hit a few just to the left of the hitting area, on the more typical hitting mat type surface, and what do you know - back to 0 degrees! And this rang true 100% of the time whenever I switched between them.
Has anyone seen this before and perhaps has an explanation? Very curious!
