Projector for Trackman

Hello,
Putting two trackmans in my golf shop and need help with a quality projector choice. Any advice. I'm technically challenged. Does anybody know what Trackman uses in their builds? I've heard 4k for sure. My set up is the typical 12 feet from screen and 19 feet total depth. My screen will be 12.5 wide by 10 feet high. Would appreciate help. Thanks in advance. Do I really need to spend $4,500? for the BenQ?

How bright will your room be? I would run the projector central calcs to make sure what ever you pick fits your room and provides sufficient lumens.

I think that Benq is pretty decent though for a 4K projector. If you don’t want to spend that money, there are some great projectors from Panasonic and also from Eiki (I have the 308u and it has been great for my room) that you should be able to find the exact models for in a search on this forum that are pretty well reviewed. I also believe someone here posted the exact name and model of the projector that TM uses (I believe he was selling his - hope this may help refine your search).

Thanks Dax - that is very helpful. My golf shop is pretty bright with full front windows. Knowing what I know now I may try to lessen the light. I am not familiar with projector central cals? Am I to assume the brighter the room the more lumens needed? I'll search the forum more thoroughly as well. I haven't been able to find much info. But that is usually operator error. Thanks again for taking the time to help me.

You will need something brighter, but it does come with sacrifices. If you get light directly hitting the screen, then You will still get a washed out image and lumens won’t really help with this.
