I have a TM4 and use 100% in my home indoor sim. Is this product now superior INDOORS to the TM4? That is the main question.
from rep:
"The primary advantages of the new iO product are being able to mount it on the ceiling and for smaller spaces, so I don’t think you would want to convert, unless you would like to get the unit off of the floor. In addition, it will offer less club data parameters than the TrackMan 4, only offering dynamic loft, face angle, and impact location upon release with the addition of club speed and path coming in the next few months, so it would be a diminished experience from the TrackMan 4 as well."

I would not say superior necessarily. TM4 actually works really well indoors but it is vital to have a lot of light so you do not miss impact. Impact is a key component to how they calculate the spin axis for indoors. This unit has the advantage of no spin axis, no need for a certain length of ball flight, also precise putting down to like 2ft. It however currently provides less club data and no certain answer on how much it might provide eventually. TM4 has a slight advantage for those with a ceiling very tall or tough to mount something to as you can just set it from behind. It really is going to come down to the user preference I think. If they are not looking to take it outdoors, do not need advance club data, and more or less want great ball data easily indoors for course play and practice this is the right choice for them. I hope that makes sense.
