Hi jay. Nothing new on the hardware side? Ie add-on to the TM4 for a better indoor use ?

No, I do not see that coming soon. The focus seems to be unlocking full capabilities from TM4 and iO. Especailly iO. They indicated in the beginning with the offboard processing of iO they expected to do a lot with it, as you can see now adding AOA and other data points. Software is also a main focus which seems smart as it is a competitive advantage for the top hardware OEM's it seems. Thanks for watching and stay tuned as I will be sure to cover anything new.

btw, I watched one of your videos about image vision cameras - you’ve tested them with foresight. Have you tried checking their compatibility with tm4 ?

Trackman is limited to IDS and Recognized Webcams, they are adding a new USB camera though. It is all about drivers and I think the companies do not want to support a bunch of random drivers for models because it would be a support nightmare.

Yes they have added e-con but specs are poor.
it was not difficult for kinovea to add the 3 big names on the market when it comes to machine vision : ids, daheng and flir blackfly. All of them are usb3, direct show compatible and indeed a plugin is necessary to make them work,,,and it’s a free software…

I feel like that would be impossible from an overhead view. I mean I do not put anything past them, but just seems like logic says it would be so tough.
