You're absolutely right may but Trugolf is not going abandon their e6. Other hardware sim though if they were smart, they would try to get TGC integrated. And some are doing it.

Looks like the Trugolf website has now been updated for 1.6 as well, as the new cloud offering. The pictures provided look great as has the past number of five fact Friday releases. Just wish they had done the update this month rather than waiting for the golf show as I would have had more time over the holiday to check it out.

I just downloaded the latest free course from Trugolf PGA National. Course is actually pretty good and suspect it will look,better in 1.6. Not sure if anyone else has downloaded the course yet, but it is free if you go to the latest news section of the Trufolf website.

Has anyone gotten any info of the E6 cloud service? I sent then an email asking questions regarding the service with the use of SkyTrak and they said "they are not currently compatible" but I think we know otherwise? Flightscope Xi/Xi+ is supposed to also use the E6 cloud for Sim but am not sure that announcement is "official" yet either.

Anyone have any info?

SkyTrak is not compatible with any simulator software at the moment - so E6's "currently not compatible" statement is correct.
There are rumours that it will eventually be paired up with E6, but there is no timescale on this at the moment. You could be looking at 3 months, or you could be looking at 3 years until SkyTrak has simulation. This was one of the factors that steered me away from it.

I believe any device that is currently integrated with e6(TM, FS, ProTee, etc..) will be able use e6 cloud. Same will be true for SkyTrak once the integration is finished.

Been testing E6 1.6. It has been improved. The graphics are better as is the putting. The haven't changed the ball views which makes no sense. The distance to green and elevation of next shot is small and hard to see. Although better it is certainly not an overall from the old E6. More like a paint and oil job.

I agree. Textures were improved a little and overall graphics are a little better than e6. Still looks outdated when compared to TGC. It still lacks the 3D look and feel that are found in ProTee 2.0 and TGC.

It is certainly nowhere near TGC. It's better but not as good as I expected.
