Hi all,
I recently purchased a TruGolf Vista 8 pro system for my son for Christmas. We set it up according to the videos and the manual. We've played a few rounds, and we are having a few problems.
1. The LED sensors are blocked unless we get creative. We trimmed back the mat some, but we didn't want to be too aggressive. The solution that seem to work well was to pull the fibers back using tape. When that happens, the software is happy and we can play.
2. Our distances are off by 2 clubs. For example, I typically carry my 56 degree wedge 90 yards but I'm getting a 50 yard carry on the simulator.
3. The ball speed reported is always 10 mph or so slower than the club head speed.
4. The ball spins seem off.
Has anyone else had similar issues? Should we be trimming the fibers back? I don't want to damage the product in case we need to return it. Could the tape issue be causing the problem with distance measurements?
The room we are playing in is poorly lit, could that play a role?
We played a round last night and it was a lot of fun, as long as we bumped up two clubs in distance.
thanks for any advice,
