I bought a new Trugolf Trutrack 2.0 with the fiberbuilt top. This is the new one with the separate control box that all thee cables attach to . My setup is 10 high x 15 wide x 10 deep. Every time I start a round, I will get into it 3-4 holes and it just stops registering shots. I have to close out the program, restart the computer and it happens 3-4 holes later. spent a week dealing with trugolf support and was told it might be a static electricity issue. They suggest I use a anti static spray on sensors and mat. Did that and still no fix. Then they uninstalled and reinstalled software. Still no fix. I thought the new box was suppose to fix these issues. Any thoughts?

I had experienced the same issues. Make sure grass is cut back from the sensors and use diagnostic tool to confirm it is not an issue of blocked sensor. After that, it then comes down to your swing. If you have a steep swing and you tend to hit the turf first that will cause a "miss read". Try hitting off the smaller rubber tees and see if you can get further into a round with less miss reads. If that is the case it probably is your swing and than it will come down to changing your mechanics. I don't know why a steep swing causes this, could be the sound of hitting the turf first throws off the acoustic element of could be the vibration when hitting turf first. I can tell you that I while I have had the problem, friends who are better golfers that are playing with me do not so I think a lot has to do with the swing. -
I’m having the same problem with it not registering after 3-4 shots. Did you every get the problem fixed? Was it the box? Cables? I’ve tried everything and getting really frustrated but having the same exact problem as you Louis.

its a flaw in the design of the unit. Cant be fixed. We tried new cables, antistatic spray. Nothing. did you call trugolf? make sure you let them know the issuesComment
