  • Skytrak / E6 Alignment Issue, HELP!

Hey everyone, so I’ve been having issues with my Skytrak’s alignment when playing on E6. I use E6 to play courses, but Skytrak for driving range / skill building. Specifically, when using E6 and I will hit a shot straight as an arrow, it reads & displays on the simulator that I’ve hit it hard right.

Our simulator setup & mat is setup is so the ball is not centered w/ respect to the screen , it’s roughly 1ft 2in right of center of the screen so hitting a straight shot wouldn’t hit in the middle of the screen, it would hit 1ft 2in to the right of center. I have this information programed into the E6 software properly in the settings under the “Projection Dimensions” settings (pictured)

Early on, I measured out alignment lines on our floor so that I can be perfectly sure that the skytrak is parallel with the hitting mat, and perpendicular with the screen. (Pictured) But when utilizing E6, I have to skew the skytrak and move the front out to the right in order for it to read straight shots as straight. (Pictured)

When I switch over to the Skytrak software, I can align the skytrak with the true alignment lines, and straight reads straight.

Anyone have any idea about what’s going on here? My hypothesis is that it has something to do with the E6 screen alignment settings, and that if you tell E6 that your mat position is off center, it still expects you to be hitting to the middle of the screen & it’s offsetting the readings accordingly. Can anyone confirm or correct my thoughts? Thank you!
