Putting question

I'm using the e6 demo on a Skytrak and the putting on course seems erratic, does anyone else feel like the their putting is off?
I'm trying to decide whether or not get this software for my sim.

I don't know about the E6 part, but when putting with a Skytrak, place the ball a good 6 inches behind the red dot and then roll the putt right over the red dot. If the erratic putting is Skytrak-related, this might help.

It also doesn't hurt to face the logo of the ball toward the Skytrak when putting, just like with full shots. What has been the problem with the putting? Just some no-reads?

I face the logo towards the camera.
I'm getting weird length putts sometimes... only while playing. Same stroke length but either a much shorter or much longer roll. The practice putting and chipping & putting areas I don't seem to get the weird rolls. I have to spend some time putting and try to figure it out. I'm liking e6 except for this putting anomaly.

I just received my E6 Connect license for my GCQuad today. I have had some erratic putting experiences already. It seems like I have to hit the ball pretty hard at times for it to roll to the flag. I have had several 15 foot putts that would just go 5ft and come to an abrupt stop on the green. (My putt went 9 ft to the screen and should have rolled at least 15 feet. I even changed the stimp on the greens to 12 to make them faster, but that didn't help.)

Note: The GCQ reads putts flawlessly in FSX2020. I can hit a 1 foot putt in FSX2020 and it will read it perfectly. It is pretty amazing, so this appears to be a bug or an E6 setup/environment issue on my part.

I'm really only having issues 15 feet & under, that's were it gets erratic. I haven't had to mash any putts at that length to get it to the cup. I'm on a Skytrak and I'm really liking the software other than this issue. I've been playing with the gimmies on inside 1.5 feet stimp at 8.. Think I'm going to get the basic first to really try it out.

My experience with putting has been very erratic on E6. As you said, mash the ball and it goes 8 feet. Barely touch it and it roles 22 feet. We have been setting it to 10' gimmes and just trying to role it into the big circle. Although we have been having a lot of fun playing it, in many ways it feels like an unfinished product.
