Like some of you, I am working with a business (family fun center) and they got the TruGolf installed. Much to our dismay there was no real way to monetize it, and the thing that REALLY annoyed me was the company said that companies that use this choose the white glove treatment and dedicate an employee to running it.
Well in our little business that would be too much, so I just finished coding and installing a physical module that turns on the projector for TruGolf, but also has a timer. When the timer expires the projector switches inputs to a media player that shows a message to "see the front desk for more time". It also turns out the lights on the green.
The control is SIMPLE to operate, an employee pushes a button on a tablet that triggers everything and starts an on the wall timer.
I also added an in wall touch screen monitor that mirrors what the projector is showing, so that customers can easily setup their game and interact with it for the games that need it. We just had our soft grand opening and it worked flawlessly.
