We spent a good chunk of change on our simulator build. It was done by a Canadian company in Ontario. The unit itself cost about 50K all in. When it works, it's awesome. Keywords being "when it works"
TruGolf
E6
Multisport
The problem, is we have problems, non-stop. Some days it works. Some days it doesn't. Some days it reads shots. Some days nothing. Some days the ball location has changed, some days it's back.
We've been on numerous support called with TrueGolf/E6 and they walk through the calibration. We seem to get it where it needs to be and then done.
At this point, we're not sure what to do. We've spent a ton and are tempted to rip the whole thing out and buy a new system. The authorized seller/installer promoted and suggested TruGolf over say trackman and other systems for accuracy, etc.
There were issues with the install.
For example, the wrong hitting mat was used, so calibration with lighting/contrast has been an issue. Just lots of issues.
Curious if we're the only ones.
Curious if anyone has any suggestions.
Curious if we're crazy to try and start from scratch.
The multisport was a bust. Thought the kids would dig it, but it's an incredibly half-baked system for 10K.
