Course Suggestions

I am playing e6 on my skytrak with the expanded package. Due to the lack of terrain penalties it seems it can be pretty easy to spray driver without concern for consequences. So far I have found 1 course that is right and has enough hazards to be difficult, Harbor Town. Has anyone found courses similar? I feel the challenge is good practice for the course so would like to find a few more to switch it up.

A recent E6 update added terrain penalties.

It may show the terrain penalty meters, but they are not currently enabled for Skytrak. In fact for the latest version 1.8.0.2 they have updated to disable the meter for devices not supported.

Interesting, I didn’t realize that. Seems that this is an E6 issue, as TGC has terrain penalties using its own flight model. E6 needs to use its own flight model rather than Skytrak’s I guess.

This is a bummer. I have TGC2019 and like it, but I am on the fence about adding E6 since I like it’s practice features, no first hop bug, etc. I tried the demo and liked it, but I will hold off until they add terrain penalties for SkyTrak.

Yeah, they use Skytrak’s flight simulation. The ball is impacted by the wind and elevation though . Overall a pretty good software, only other issue is the spin reaction on the green, but you can combat that with the settings.
