Is there a way to set it so you can always see the ball from where you are hitting it without going to the hud to make it visible

The setting defaults to being over the ball rather than behind it (where you can see the ball). When you change the setting it should remain in the selected state until you change it or relaunch E6. The only time I switch to being above the ball is when the view from behind shows a serious obstacle blocking my view. In many cases, moving to a position above the ball shows me that the obstacle I saw is actually behind my ball and thus of no concern in my club/shot selection.
