Does the club selection affect the ball flight/physics or is it just for tracking/analytics? For instance if I use my 5 Iron but the club selection is on Driver, does that matter at all?

Neither the caddie selected club suggestion or the club you select impact tracking/analytics, with one exception. If you are putting from just off the green surface, you need to change the club selection from SW to Putter. Otherwise, a well struck putt will be interpreted as a weak wedge shot. E6 knows nothing about you club's characteristics or loft angles. -
Okay, thanks. That's what I suspected. going into the dashboard, I do realize now that it would be nice to map back to the actual club I'm using for analytics.Comment
