This course has been home to the Illinois State Amateur golf tournament 7 times and hosted the 2020 Illinois State Senior Amateur. In 6 of the 7 State Amateurs, the winner was over par (exception: Jay Haas’s brother Jerry in 1984).
It’s a shorter track (~6400) that equalizes long and short hitters via long rough and fast greens where approach angle is more important than distance. Par 71 with slope 132 and rating 71.2.
