Well I've had setups for a couple years now and haven't gotten around to putting up trim or ceiling protection. Being that it's in the garage, I didn't think it needed it, but kept hearing how it makes the image really stand out and look a lot better. Seeing that it's in the garage, I didn't really want to spend very much. I found 27" wide thin vinyl floor material at Home Depot to use for the borders. It was nice because it had ridges and you could cut it very easily along the ridge. I bought a 10' strip for about $22 and then a harbor freight 8' x 10' mesh tarp for the ceiling. For about $40 total, it was quite an improvement. The mesh tarp is hung like a baffle, sagging down in the middle and connected to piece of1/2" emt out about 4'. I have 4 clamps holding it to the top cross bar on the back side and it just hangs down behind the screen/net.

It was just an extra piece to keep the balls from bouncing off the garage floor. That green carpet is the indoor/outdoor stuff from costco. It's pretty thin. One day i'll upgrade to something a little thicker to help deaden it more.
