  • Foot Pedals

I installed a bank of 3 foot pedals to my ProTee system. You can map the pedals to any key or series of keystrokes. I played around with several setups and ended up using one pedal to change clubs and the other 2 pedals to move my aim left or right. After several holes, I realize that if I added a 4th pedal (for the return key), I think I could play a round without having to go to my computer at all.

I made a short video for you guys to see them in action. They are made out of metal and are very sturdy. Cost was around $30.

That pretty sweet! Was thinking about doing a similar thing but wasn't sure if it would be worth it or not. Looks like it might be right up my alley after seeing it here. Nice work

Any chance you can provide the link since I would love to steal your idea and put it to use!

Good call on this gene438 . I picked one up for about 49 bucks on EBay. Set mine up in seconds. Now I can easily select Left , Right and Enter/Advance for TGC without touching my keyboard.

Not sure how protee play works, but you can map each pedal to any key on the keyboard. Assuming you go through club selection via a keyboard, it should not be a problem.

                  Hi,
In ProTee Play you select clubs via the keyboard, but you have to select for example : iron clubs with ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 etc.)
So you don't have just 1 key that goes through all the clubs available

Thanks ProTee Max.. its as I thought, just wondered if there was a way to do a string command for the foot pedal.. might have to accept its not going to be possible, It's a shame ProTee haven't programmed a single 'scroll through clubs' key control

I use a program called voice attack which can map keystrokes and mouse movements with voice commands. You can just say “select putter” and map it the key and it work pretty well. Can even tell it to aim left and it will keep aiming left till you say stop.

Yes, it will. You will need to set it up.
