    Upgrade graphic card for best 1080p TGC experience

    Hi everyone, I would like to go to change my graphic card ( actually I have a radeon HD 6970 ) to run TGC (and in future also TGC 2) at max setting with 60 fps. I heard someone talk about GTX 1060, 1070 or also RX 480 8gb.
    Which is the best in your opinion for maximizing 1080p tgc experience.

      The 6GB version of the GTX1060 will get it done but if you have the cash go for the GTX1070 or even the 1080..

          What's about tgc 2 in the future! It will require the same as tgc or not?? I would like to buy a graphic card also in function of tgc2.

              I think you're answering you own question...it's make sense to buy the best card available now, so that it is still considered a very good card later for tgc2.

              ie spend as much as you can on one now, if your goal is to future proof.

              or just buy one that works now, sell it and upgrade later.

                          I have a gtx1070 and run it no problem on my laptop. The 1080 was more and really overkill for the price. The benchmarking between the 1070 and 1080 wasnt enough to get me to spend the extra money. With that being said the benchmarking between the 1060 and 1070 was a big enough difference.

                              What about instead the difference between Gtx 10.. and amd radeon RX ??? Maybe there is one that prefer amd respect to nvidia? Can it be considered or it's better to go on GTX

                                  When it comes to comparing amd vs nvidia cards you really have to do your homework. Amd tends to be a cheaper in price and ive been told and read that their newest ones are getting better. personally i love the way nvidia has there stuff set up. I did alot of researching before i committed to the gtx 1070. There wasnt a whole lot of amd/radeon that i thought would be ample to handle the program. Im sure there is alot that can, but i would rather not find out the hard way. Its kind of like an intel processor.
