    MSI GE72VR Apache PRO-010 17.3'' i7-6700HQ 12GB Nvidia GTX1060 6G 128GB SSD+1TB

    I have been looking at computer systems to run TGC and my brother suggested this. Will this work?? Anyone have any experience with the MSI gaming laptops? The prices seem very reasonable. Thanks!

      That looks like a good deal. I have the exact same specs on my laptop only from acer, it runs well for me.

          Nice! Laptops getting very powerful these days. I noticed that MSI one is for a refurb one, but as long as it works, don't matter to me!

              do you prefer laptop over desktop? i'm guessing you do but a desktop can be had for same specs for less $$$

                  My simulator will be setup in a detached garage I've built. I really don't want to leave a expensive PC in there when not in use. This way, I can just unplug the laptop and my GC2, and store it in the house. Mostly for ease of mind, but the portability is a plus.

                      You can also get a lan box type system. Should be less expensive than a laptop with about the same portability. Unplug HDMI,AC,USB's.

                      But that price for a laptop is great because it is a refurb. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Plus 6mth warranty. Seems like a good buy imo.
