Newbie to sim? Laptop help please!

First off i have read through the forums and all that has done is offer up more questions, so if someone could possible answer this id be very appreciated.
I purchased a skytrak will also be getting TGC, i have put 1300 aside for laptop if need be ill put 1500 but that's max, shipping, and taxes.
so bottom line is what is the best laptop for that price range? thanks in advance..

Just got it 2 days ago but it meets or exceeds all recommended specs.

mine gets here tuesday, but ill be at the house going on days off, so it will be here when i return in two weeks.
