  • Speaker system for SIM

I have a new garage sim build and need to get a cost effective speaker system for my computer. I am utilizing TGC and Skytrak. Any suggestions?

if you are buying a projector, you can get one with a built in speaker.

I have some decent computer speakers hooked up to the audio output of my projector. I have these mounted behind my hitting screen.

In my home office I have Audio Engine 5+, they are great for what they are. 75W/channel powered speakers. There are smaller options. I will likely use AE speakers in the sim room, I really like them and for the size and connection to a computer I love them. Probably put the 5+ in the sim room and then go to smaller A2 in the office.

The A5+ will blow most people out of my 12x12 office. They easily fill a 20x12 room (but I use B&W in there).

But now that you have me thinking... I assume that the speakers are mostly for the golf simulator audio. If so, I would guess that you could get away with the A2, although I have not heard them.

I think I will just use my bose mini link for background music, when people will put up with it.
