  • New to the forum and 1st question on cameras and software.

Am I in the right place for this post ?

Due to a few health issues I need to get my swing back together, so 2 cameras are Top of the list.

This is just for myself and not for teaching. But able record, slow down …split screen etc is what I aiming for but just good enough for me and not a massive spend $$$$ if possible.

Any recommendations on Cameras ( 2 camera set up) and software before I start spending and wasting money on things that not work.

Thanks in advance if any reply

I just ordered one of these based on another thread I saw on the forum from about a year back. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2MP-USB-...72.m2749.l2649

If it's any good i'll pick up another, but it won't be arriving for a few weeks yet more than likely.

It runs as 120fps which is what others have recommended.

People also seem to recommend https://www.kinovea.org/ software quite a bit. Have a search and you'll find some scripts people have written to help enhance its capabilities too, such as auto capture based on the sound of your strike. It's free too which is great.

Here’s what u can do with 2 camera’s and Kinovea. I use 2 Logitec (905 and BRIO) camera’s running at 30fps although the BRIO is upposed to be able to do more fps. It works for me running at 30 fps.
