can someone tell me which card gives you better performance? I understand that the 10 series is the newer card but is the 980 actually a higher end card I'm looking into getting a gaming laptop and found some good deals on refried laptops with the gtx980m processor.

If you could also comment on the 970 and how it stacks up as well, would be appreciated. -
I have the 970 in 1 PC and the 1060GB 6GB in another. The 1060 is better but only by about 10FPS from what I could tell. The 980 I would expect to outperform the 1060 but for this game as well as TGC2, the 1060 or even the 970 is perfectly fine. I would add, some courses just aren’t optimized well they chew up graphics cards FPS. I play on high and ultra settings on 1 and 2. Now....if you play 4K......you’ll want a 1070 minimum.Comment
