1080 verses 1060

I am using a 1060 6gb msi card in my sim with a Panasonic 1080 HD output. Anyone know if it would be worth upgrading to 1080Ti card for better graphics in TGC or would there not be much difference?

The real tell is how well does your TGC program run versus your settings for graphic resolution. Do you call for high res and then get jerky movements in ball flight and such? My computer has a 1080, not a Ti, with 8 gigs three year old vintage video ram, and it has run all the sims no problem no matter the graphic detail I demanded. I do expect that as we transition into 4k resolutions (also requiring better projectors and screens) and ever improving programming (more gigs of program running altogether), we may need better graphics cards.

There's no improvement in graphics. Frame rates will increase but the 1060 is already around 60fps so it won't look any smoother. Remains to be seen what changes may occur with the tgc 2019 sim update.
