  • Please see specs...is this PC worth $700?

Hi, I am in the process of making a golf simulator. Going to use RMotion for a bit and then add Skytrak next year sometime. I know this PC I am looking at exceeds the recommended requirements for my usage but is this price good? I think it is but with new GPU's coming out and prices finally trending downward would I be smart to wait a little longer. I am still at least 4-6 weeks from opening day in my garage. Guy selling says it is only a few months old and still has receipts and boxes it came with Jump on this guy or not?

Hard Drive - Type SATA (1,000 GB) + Solid State Drive (120 GB) for a total Hard Drive Capacity of 1,120 GB
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB
System Memory (RAM) - 16 gigabytes
Processor Speed (Base) - Intel 7th Generation Core i7 -Processor Model Number i7-7700
    Operating System - Windows 10

Thank you for any input you can provide...

Hard drive space would be the only drawback but you can pickup a 500GB SSD HD from newegg.com for around $80.00.

      Thank you for the reply!

I fixed the original spec list I had as the HD information was a bit confusing. It comes with 2 drives, 1 at 1,000GB and another solid state drive at $120G for a total of 1,120GB. Can I assume that should be plenty? If so, is $700 a good deal for this machine?

      Thanks again!

It would cost you a lot more than $700.00 to build it to those specs. The 1TB HD makes it good, just watch you don't overload the C: drive, install everything else to D:.

Thanks again for your input, it is greatly appreciated. I will be sure to install as much as possible to D: drive.

          Take care...

I’d install your Sim software and any main software you’ll be opening often to C:/ though. You’ll have plenty of room still.
