I recently purchased a Skytrak, haven't even received it yet, but I'm unsure what sort of pc to go with. I'm not concerned if its a pc or labtop, either is fine for me, and frankly I won't be using it for much of anything outside of running my simulator. I'm planning on going with the Optoma GT1080Darbee projector due to the really short throw I will have.
I'm on a budget with wife say, So I'm looking to spend in the $300-$400 range if possible, I can go up to $500 if its blatently obvious there are better choices in that range.
I'm undecided if I'm going to go with E6 or TGC at this so I've shown both recommendations below, I've gone through ebay a bit (refurbished or used computers are completely fine for me), I seem to do ok in hitting my recommendations on either side until I get to the graphics, I'm lost there, my preference is to hit the recommendation on either side, and if possible leave some room for future improvements or requirements with future gaming updates.
Apppreciate anyone's help in narrowing down what I should go with.
