Not bad at all, feel like it will be pretty nice for the full swing shots for sure. Was thinking about trying to get a high fps camera to set up with automatic playback like the uneekor has for the club/ball impact. Maybe make my own bootleg version of it. Not sure the availability of that high of an fps camera though for a reasonable price

You will find out Friday. I have a IDS 3140-cp on the way. Im tryling to do a DIY Uneekor as well. Im my research it seems the optishot vision is also using a IDS camera not sure of the model though. If someone could find out which cameras Uneekor is using I will order them.

If someone is spending real money then better to get the 3160CP. That and the fastest lens money can buy if you really want to freeze the club head/ball with small sensors. . Better still, get the monochrome camera versions since they are more light efficient.

Regardless it's gonna take a boatload of light... Blur is your friend. Lol

Do you think the 3160 is better than 3180? I thought the larger sensor would help with the light. I plan to test that after the 3140 if I can't get the results I want.

Yeah 3180 is better for what you're trying to do. . But more costly...

I don't have the 3140CP but I've been using these lenses for various cameras. The are low distortion and have wide apertures. You'll need the adapter of course.

I've got one of the 100fps 640x480 camera and it does work ok but it needs a lot of light, and ultimately I want another one which can do more than 100fps that can also capture ball flight/club at impact if I want to (to measure club path, launch angle, face angle and so forth). Is there such a thing within $500 range? How much fps would I need for those measurements? I've seen some good ones at $4000 but I just think it's too much for it.

Working on that now using the 3140 cp, just need to find a better lens than the supplied 50mm. here are several photos. The lighter one is at 90fps the darker at ~1000

You'd probably have to be 60-70 feet away to get full body with that 50mm lens. So ya not suitable.

I'd guess you'd be down around 3-4mm depending how far away you are. What's your distance? And what height do you want to capture? The required lens can be calculated based on sensor size.

Looked at your video. Pretty dark. What's your lighting? Make sure you've cranked the gain setting towards max. When's the full review coming? It's been a day already...you're slowing down in your old age! Lol
