I need one about 25' to route out of the way. Camera is nothing special ( http://m.ebay.com/itm/322140083983?_mwBanner=1 ) . But I really don't want to lose any image quality.

You don't lose quality with length. However over about 5m length it may not work reliably and you'll need an active cable.

Back when I was experimenting with Kinovea I had my cameras connected via two 10’ basic eUSB extension cables, so,the total length was about 26’. I agree with faulty, tho, in that your mileage will vary at that length.

I am amazed at the picture and options available from such a small camera. However my "cheapness" always gets in the way. I wish now I'd spent the extra money on the 5000 lumen projector. It takes a lot of light with this camera.

Are you rrying to use just the light coming from the projector screen? No camera works well doing that, they all need their own lighting directly on the subject. Typically a high lumen spotlight bulb.

I have my hitting area lit, just not very much. With the room lights on the camera look great but the projector image is washed out a lot.

Trip to Home Depot for spot light may take care of it.

Ya, spotlights are needed to control where all the light goes. Can't really solve that problem with the projector.

You can also put a baffle (ie "barn door") near the bulb to keep light from spilling onto the screen.

40° and 25° spot seen to be the common sizes. You'd have to figure out which one is better for you. 40° worked best for me.

They did not have a 25 in stock , got the 40. Snowing (again) now, little plowing to do then I'll test it and post.
