I'm just wondering if anyone might have some insight about any concerns going with i9 processor vs. i7. The system will be used for a SkyTrak/TGC 2019 setup.

I am running an i9 on my QED Uneekor and TGC 2019 and everything works great.

No concerns on the i9. The i7 will run just as fine... Really it is the GPU that you need to worry most about. Bottlenecking of the GPU can happen if the RAM and Processor are not up to the task, but even a high-strung i3 will still allow you to run TGC in 1080p with a 1060TI or greater...
