Looking to build a basic rig to run Skytrak and either E6 or TGC2019. I already have a VR PC build for me and the kids, but need something in the garage to run my golf sim, and maybe some racing Sims. I know how to assemble PCs no problem. Just wanting some options and opinions. I want to keep the budget medium since I just purchased all the stuff to make my sim, including a Skytrak.

Take a look at what I attached and let me know what you think. (I already have a 550w PSU).

The monitor is a touch screen.

I could not see the cpu side of your build but just so that there was a pretty good deal on a AMD Ryzen 5 3600x at $200 on Newegg with a promo code. Not sure what you were going with but just thought I’d throw it out there.

Seems I left that part out. Thanks for the tip on the Ryzen. I have a Ryzen 7 on my other rig now.

If budget is objective I'd recommend looking at used workstation market. I found a HPZ420 workstation with Xeon processor, 16GB memory, 500 GB Hard drive for $230. I then added a new EVGA GTX 1070 graphics card to it. I use it only to run sim and works great. Workstation.cases are solid and built for service. Workstation motherboards usually do not have integrated graphics but do have bigger power supply. Just have to make sure you have right power connectors for graphics card you want to use. I got just over $500 in my sim computer. There is a plentiful supply on the market.

Looks pretty good. I'd go with the ryzen 5 3600. I'd probably spend a little more and go with an rtx 2060. One more thing to consider would be getting a PCIe wifi card instead of USB. I don't know if you plan on plugging in, but these games rely heavily on your network connection.

I highly recommend looking at microcenter, they are usually the lowest price for cpu/motherboard combos.

There is no Microcenter nearby, plus a already order my new rig.
