New NVIDIA GPUs

They just announced the RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090. At least twice as powerful as the 20 series. So might want to wait until late september to either get a unit w the new cards, or get the 2080s on sale....

All the guys (4) I know that run a 2080Ti are on liquid, or are using the Lian Li Der Bauer Air case with a ton of fans in a push pull config.

Yep, that's my current config. So far I haven't found the need to WC the GPU. If I ever go hard tube, then maybe, but for now I really can't justify it.

Yeah, the 2080 really shouldn’t need to be water cooled unless you just want the cooler temp but guys are seeing hardly any difference in benchmarks on WC 20gen cards.
