  • Need New Graphics Card

My current PC is spec'd below
    Nvidia GTX 960
ASUS 970 Pro Gaming Aura Motherboard
    16 GB Ram
AMD FX-8370 Black Edition 8 Core CPU

I am looking for new graphics card and looking to stay with $150 budget.

I have found some options on what i think will be okay with TGC2019 and or E6 Connect PC version. Here is what i think may be okay for my budget. Let me know opinions or graphic cards that i may not have listed below. Thank you!

EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 TI SC 4gb
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 3GB
    EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB

Have you started to look at used cards. Suspect there may be a bunch of used ones coming out once the 3070 is released at a the same performance of a 2080ti. If your budget was $300 I might even consider selling my 2070 super and thus I am sure there will be a pretty good used market in the coming months.

Were you having problems with the Nvidia GTX 960 and TGC2019?

I honestly haven't tried yet. Do you think i would be able to run it a lower setting. My projector is an Epson 660 Home Series so i think its only 720p so i wouldn't need it set to higher setting for 1080p. I am knowledgeable about a lot of things but the guts of computers was never one of them. lol

I don't think you will have any problems with the GTX 960 at 720p, even 1080p. You are in between minimum and recommended requirements. I wouldn't spend any money on new GPU until you try it out and see. Worst case you run it at 720p until you get new card.

pDubs Thank you so much for your help with this. I have been so many videos on Youtube trying to gauge what graphic card will work the best for my budget. So you think i would be fine on both TGC2019 and E6 Connect at 720p or 1080p
