  • Cameras to Record Swing with Kinovia

I am looking for some guidance on cameras to record my swing down the line and facing. My big issue is I have limited distance, facing is about 4 feet and down the line maybe six feet. I have been looking for weeks at cameras and can't find one that is not out of my range. Under 100 fps should work. Thanks in advance. You can stream your Iphone to Kinovia but the frame rate is slow.

Given the limited distance, you may try looking into some sort of very wide angle fisheye 180 deg lens like a 1.7mm or 1.8mm lens such as this one https://www.amazon.com/1-8mm-angle-F.../dp/B07Q1HP77P

For cameras that can do 100fps or better, you can use ELP 720P 120fps USB cam or Kayeton 720P 120fps.

    ELP 720P 120fps - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000918161819.html
    Kayeton 720p 120fps - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32915145632.html (You can select 1.7mm fish eye lens)

Both are based on OV4689 sensor. The ELP camera will let you change the gain to freeze the club without motion blur. Kayeton's firmware won't let you change the gain. Get either camera and pair it with a 1.7mm or 1.8mm lens to see if you can get entire swing in the view. Keep in mind that fisheye lens image will look a bit distorted (curved) because of the nature of wide angle lens.
