I’m looking at GPUs right now and I have found this

    AERO-GeForce-GTX-1650-AERO/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&gclid=Cj0KCQiAmf mABhCHARIsACwPRAAorjDX7FmJcvg-EBg-xLOfrHu1nEC3sDOoTRX2aZmQCZesXSwhxUAaAkMAEALw_wcB&g clsrc=aw.ds

would this do the job for tgc 2019 on medium settings?
Nvidia Ansel. This powerful photo mode lets you take professional grade photographs of your games like never before. Now you can capture and share your most brilliant gaming experiences with super resolution 360 degree HDR and stereo photographs. Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU with DDR6 1620 MHz Boost Easily upgrade your PC and get game ready with performance thats up to 2X the GeForce GTX 950 and up to 70percent faster than the GTX 1050 on the latest games.

It would be on the edge. It's rated a little slower than a GTX 1060 which is recommended for TCG 2019. With the shortage of GPUs lately, it's getting harder to find something for a decent price. I think most users are steering towards a laptop since you can get a full laptop with everything including a screen for around the same price as building a desktop. If you decide to go the laptop route just be aware it's almost impossible to upgrade. Personally, I wouldn't buy this just due to future-proofing. If you ever want the software stack that Nvidia brings with the RTX series or if you want to use 4K the GTX1650 is not a good choice.

How about letting us know the other PC specs to give us an idea of what you have and what you are trying to pair the GPU with. For example, if you're trying to pair this a Sandy Bridge CPU (2600K) then it's time to upgrade the whole PC and don't waste money on an underpowered GPU.

I was able to buy a gtx 1060 for under 200, so i went with that. Now on to the rest of the build, wish me luck.

Good luck, it's tough out there right now for hardware.

I was able to get a 1650 on Offerup a few weeks ago for < $100 and it works great for E6 Connect running on an i5 CPU

Bad news for me. I got an email that said my order was cancelled by the seller so I am back at square one looking for a GPU. Why cant they make it where the higher number is always better than the lower one...

Is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 · 4 GB something that can do the job?

It's confusing but a great website to check the GPU model information and comparisons is gpu.userbenchmarks.com. There is a shortage of hardware in the market right now and demand is very high. If you find a deal I would jump on it pretty quickly.

Although the website does not take into account other hardware it will give you an idea of the GPU you are looking to purchase.

dugue4 - Did you take a look at the site preludesam mentioned? I do not have experience with either TGC2019 or the GTX 960 but it looks significantly below what is recommended. Just food for thought. UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1060-6GB vs 960

I did. I compared it to the minimum requirement and it was slightly ahead of the minimum. I wanted to grab one to be able to finish the build and then upgrade later.

OK - sounds like a good plan. Enjoy!

Sims are not that tough to run compared to AAA game titles. You can get close to 60fps with 1080p resolution on anything that was $250 MSRP up to about 3 years ago. If you want 4k at 120fps then you need something beefy with a good CPU.
