    Speakers Computer and Projector

Thank you all for all your help. I am getting closer to finishing my build. Can anyone help me with this? I need to figure out how to connect my speakers, computer and projector.

PC to projector will be HDMI
How do I connect my regular speakers? there are 2 in the ceiling in the middle of the room. I want to make sure there isn't a delay? Do I connect the speakers straight to computer? How? Do I use a receiver? I am not very concerned about the quality just don't wan there to be a delay if watching something.

Sorry can figure it out. Here is a couple pics of my room. I am so excited!!!

I would expect you would have your HDMI out from your cpu as an input to a receiver and then and HDMI out of the receiver to the projector. Speakers would be output of receiver. Note I don't have a sim yet but this I do run my cpu to a projector in my theater room now and this is how I have it setup.

For speakers, you’ll either need a receiver or a multimedia system like I just bought, the Rockville HTS56. I did have a Logitech Z-5500 hooked up, but the control pod took a dump. I have both my projectors hooked up to my laptop via HDMI cable through a splitter, and my Z-5500 was ran thru an external sound card hooked up via cable to the laptop’s USB-C slot if memory serves me correctly. I did buy a Logitech Bluetooth adapter to try, but never had a chance to try the laptop’s Bluetooth before the Z-5500 quit on me. I should be able to hook up the HTS to the laptop via Bluetooth since it has that feature built in. The Rockville unit can be had for $164 shipped right now if you wanna go that route.

I just simply plugged some external speakers into the input port in my projector. Works great.
