  • How do you fill laptop and Projector screen with Extended mode

I just setup may 1st garage sim and can’t figure out how to get Full screen on both sim screen and full native 1920 x 1080 on the laptop screen.

I was able to fill my 10 x 8.5 sim screen by setting the laptop to 1280 x 1024 using extended mode and hdmi out, but then the laptop screen is not full screen and has bars on both sides. Is there anyway i can have 1280 x1024 output from HDMI to sim screen and still have the laptop 1920x1080? I’m a Mac guy and can’t figure this out on windows.

How do people with 4:3 setups handle this? Any help appreciated.

    Details:
    Laptop with: Nvidia 3060,
    Projector: BenQ TH671 ST,
    Sim screen - image fills screen @ 1280 x1024
    Laptop native: 1920 x1080

I know this is a pretty old post and maybe nobody will see it, but I had the same problem. I called the Windows help line and talked to a guy about it - he told me that windows 10 is not able to display one image size and send a different size out to the projector. There may be some back door way of manipulating this, but the windows guy didn't know how it could be done. We are stuck with the bars.
