  • High speed camera

I don’t post much but have been lurking on here for years. I just got my Bushnell launch pro today and am thinking about getting a high speed camera to use with kenovea. I don’t want to spend a bunch and don’t want anything with less than 120fps. Do you think this cheap thing from China will work?

Did you ever pull the trigger on this camera? I have been using a cheap LifeCam HD3000 webcam for mine and while the FPS obviously lacks, it does work. However.....I'm exploring a few different avenues. One mainly with a Raspberry Pi 4 and a HDcam from Arducam, as you can configure them to work solely as a webcam.......and I have plenty of each from other projects that I never seem to finish lol

I completely understand with the unfinished projects. I have a problem and my spouse knows about it. Somehow she stays with me.

I used something like that; plug and play with OBS for auto swing replay. I haven't used it with kenovea as I prefer the simplicity of OBS once setup.

brentflog I'm in the exact same boat as you. Did you end up finding a good cheap camera that works? Doesnt FSX have a camera option also? Curious if that camera will work. Not sure if I need the whole Kinovea solution...

That is what I was thinking. I watched a video recently of the GC Quad on Golf Simulator videos. Jay showed how his "inexpensive" webcams integrate with the FSX software and allow him to watch the playback of his swing (just like the Uneekor software does). Don't the Quad and GC 3 operate off of the same software?
